About Me
As an artist I have a strong passion for creating compelling characters, narratives and worlds that resonate with players, challenge conventional norms and invite reflection on a variety of topics.
To me, a character, story or world should not just be beautiful to look at or play in; It should also make the player feel something.
In my personal projects I manage this by creating games and stories rooted in broader societal topics, such as gender and identity, and turning them into smaller, more intimate narratives wherein the player experiences a different side of society than what they might be used to.
Beyond my passion for character art, I also love working in styles different from my own. Whether that be through exploring new art styles in concept art, game assets, or through intense research into a specific style or topic.
During my education at HKU Games, I have developed skills across different fields related to art. While I would mainly describe myself as a character artist, I've also gained experience related to prop design and modeling, game creation and video editing. The tools I mainly use for this are Clip Studio Paint, Unity and Blender. Currently I'm working on adding Photoshop, Z-brush and Substance Painter to that list.
